Welcome to BookBio. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. BookBio is serviced and operated by Uno Arch LLC.
2. Services Provided
BookBio provides an online platform for authors to create personal storefronts, showcase their books, and collect reader emails. Some features are provided for free, while others require a paid "Pro" subscription.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you post on your storefront. You agree not to use the service for any illegal purposes or to distribute content that violates the rights of others.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Payments for "Pro" plans are handled securely via Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.
5. Limitation of Liability
BookBio and Uno Arch LLC provide the service "as is" and shall not be held liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform or any interruptions in service.
Privacy Policy
1. Who Operates BookBio
BookBio is operated by Uno Arch LLC. Uno Arch LLC is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy: it decides why and how your data, and the data of your readers, is collected and used.
2. Data Collection
We collect your email address and authentication data to provide you with access to your account. For authors using our newsletter features, we store the reader emails collected on your behalf.
3. Data Usage
We use your data solely to provide and improve the BookBio service. We do not sell your personal data or the data of your readers to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party providers to help run our service, including Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage, and SMTP2go for email delivery.
5. Security
We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
